As the year winds down and the holiday season approaches, we’re feeling extra grateful for the gift of your trust. It’s been a year of building, learning, and growing together, and your feedback has helped shape Flowla into an even better tool for your workflows (and grab a few G2 badges along the way!).

In the spirit of giving, we’re excited to share the latest updates packed with features designed to make your work simpler, faster, and more collaborative — so you can wrap up your projects and start the new year strong.

Let’s unwrap the details! 🎄

More intuitive flow navigation 🗺️

We know how important it is to quickly find your way around a project. That’s why we’ve made flow navigation more intuitive than ever. The simplified color palette now highlights only the stage and step you’re currently viewing, helping you focus without distractions. This streamlined design ensures both you and your flow visitors know exactly where you are in the process.

Additionally, we’ve transformed stages into accordion-style sections. This makes it instantly clear when there’s more content to explore, eliminating guesswork and ensuring no critical details get overlooked. Whether you're onboarding a client or managing an internal project, navigating through complex workflows has never been this easy.

Search & find flow content 🔍

Have you ever wished for a faster way to locate a specific piece of content in a flow? Now you can. The new search functionality lets you effortlessly comb through your flow by clicking the search icon or using the shortcut ⌘K.

This isn’t just about convenience — it’s about speed and precision. Whether you're reviewing a detailed proposal or jumping to an action step during a client call, this feature helps you focus on what matters, when it matters. No more time wasted scrolling or guessing where something is.

Assign tasks to dynamic primary contacts ⚙️

Managing tasks across multiple stakeholders can be a headache, but not anymore. With dynamic primary contact assignments, Flowla adapts as your projects evolve.

Now, you can assign tasks directly to a flow’s primary contact, and if that contact changes — say, due to a shift in responsibilities — those tasks are automatically reassigned to the new contact. This ensures no to-do falls through the cracks and eliminates the need to update task owners manually. For teams juggling multiple accounts or large projects, this feature is a game-changer, saving you hours of administrative effort and keeping everyone aligned.

Protect your flows with email verification 🔒

Security is non-negotiable when sharing sensitive information. That’s why we’ve introduced email verification for your flows. Before anyone can access your flow, they’ll need to verify their identity by entering a code sent to their email address.

This isn’t just about keeping unauthorized eyes off your flows; it’s about building trust. Clients and collaborators can feel confident that their information is protected, and you can maintain control over who views your content. Pair this feature with our “Restrict access to specific viewers” option, and you’ve got a rock-solid security setup tailored to your needs.

💡 Tip: Use this alongside the “Restrict access to specific viewers” option to guarantee a flow is viewed only by the specific viewers you allow.

Clay Integration is here!

For users managing outreach at scale, Flowla’s new Clay integration is here to revolutionize your workflows. You can now create fully personalized flows in bulk directly from your Clay tables, combining the power of automation with the personal touch that clients appreciate.

Whether you're coordinating dozens of proposals or nurturing relationships with hundreds of prospects, this integration makes it possible to move fast without sacrificing quality. It’s ideal for scaling processes that still feel human and intentional.

Microsoft Outlook integration ✉️

Flowla’s integration with Microsoft Outlook takes the hassle out of email communication. Much like our Gmail integration, you can now connect your Outlook account to send emails directly to clients from your own inbox.

This isn’t just a convenience feature; it’s a way to keep all your communication in one place, ensuring nothing slips through the cracks. With everything connected — flows, tasks, and emails — you can focus more on nurturing relationships and less on managing tools.

New asset type: Whimsical

Collaboration thrives on clarity, and nothing beats visual tools for brainstorming and project planning. That’s why we’ve added support for Whimsical assets in Flowla. Now you can embed flowcharts, wireframes, mind maps, and more directly into your flows.

This makes it easy for teams to align on ideas and plans without hopping between platforms. Whether you’re mapping out a project strategy or sharing a product concept with clients, having everything in one place simplifies discussions and fosters better collaboration.

Wrapping up

Each of these features is designed with one goal: to make your work simpler, faster, and more effective. Whether it’s navigating a complex flow, assigning tasks dynamically, or securing sensitive information, Flowla is here to eliminate bottlenecks and streamline your processes.
